Cultural Exchange Days
On 23rd January, 2025, our CMS P4 students participated in the Chinese Culture Day at TWGHs Sin Chu Wan Primary School. The event provided an enriching opportunity to explore Chinese culture through various activities. Students learned traditional lion dance, discovered the history of Poon Choi, and engaged in an art and craft project with their peers from the host school. The day culminated in a visit to Che Kung Temple, where students wrote couplets in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year.
Later, on 6th May, 2025, our students had the honor of hosting a cultural exchange day focused on conservation. Participants enjoyed a guided tour around Sheung Wan, where they learned about Hong Kong's history and the significance of its unique buildings, including the Chinese YMCA of HK and PMQ. Our students took on the role of guides, ensuring that the guests felt welcomed and engaged. Together, they collaborated on a project to develop a conservation plan, fostering teamwork and a shared commitment to protecting the environment.
These activities aimed to connect with our community, instill a love for our living environment, and build friendships with students from different schools.
文化交流日
在2025年1月23日，本校四年級學生曾到訪在東華三院冼次雲小學舉行的中國文化日。這次活動為學生提供了探索中國文化的豐富機會，通過各種活動學習。學生們學習了傳統的舞獅，了解了盆菜的歷史，並與主辦學校的同學一起參加了藝術和手工活動。活動最後，學生們參觀了車公廟，並在慶祝即將到來的農曆新年時寫下了對聯。
隨後，在2025年5月6日，我們有幸邀請了冼次雲學校的學生到來，主辦了一個以保護環境為主題的文化交流日。參與者享受了一次圍繞上環的導賞之旅，了解香港的歷史及其獨特建築的重要性，包括香港中華青年會和PMQ元創方。我們的學生擔任導遊，確保客人感到受歡迎和參與。大家一起合作制定了一個保護計劃，促進了團隊合作和共同保護環境的承諾。
這些活動旨在與我們的社區建立聯繫，培養我們對生活環境的熱愛，並能與其他友校與來自不同學校的學生建立友誼。
