2025-2026 小女童軍活動

       小女童軍課外活動目標是讓女孩子發展她們的潛能，使她們成為有責任感的世界公民。透過優秀女童軍選舉，表揚有優秀表現的小女童軍，為青少年人樹立好榜樣。恭喜本校6A 劉芷藍榮獲優秀女童軍，她勇於接受挑戰，實踐八項綱領，除了積極考核不同的興趣章外，還熱心參與服務和幫助別人。

       本校港島第149隊小女童軍除了參加慈善獎券活動，幫助有需要的人外，還在運動會擔任服務生。這學年亦完成了不同的興趣章評核(例如書法章、中國傳統節日章、款待章、電腦章、舞蹈章、玩具製造章和歌唱章)。期待她們來年繼續努力，發展潛能，挑戰自我；從多元化活動中去學習及分享，發展技能及建立自信心，成為有責任感的世界公民。

2025-2026 Brownies Activities

      The goal of the brownies is to help girls develop their potential and become responsible global citizens. The Outstanding Girl Guide Election recognizes outstanding brownies and sets a good example for young people. Congratulations to 6A LIU TSZ LAM for winning the Outstanding Girl Guide award! She bravely accepted challenges, practiced the eight principles, actively assessed various interest badges, and enthusiastically participated in service and helping others.

      Our school 149 Island Pack Brownies participated in charity raffles to help those in need and also served as volunteers at the sports day. This school year, they also completed various interest badge assessments (such as Calligraphy, Chinese Festivals, Hosting, Computer, Dancing, Toy Making and Singing). We look forward to their continued efforts next year, developing their potential, challenging themselves, learning and sharing from diverse activities, developing skills and building self-confidence, and becoming responsible global citizens.

Unforgettable Teachers' Guidance • Growing Hand in Hand

 — The 59th Primary Six Graduation Ceremony

The 59th Primary Six Graduation Ceremony, held on 26th June, 2026, beautifully marked the conclusion of our graduates' primary school journey through a celebration filled with warmth, tears, and profound life education. 

The ceremony highlighted the deep bonds of gratitude within our school community, notably during the emotional "Teacher Appreciation Moment" and a heartfelt speech from the parent representative, which underscored the powerful partnership between home and school in nurturing both academic excellence and character development.

Looking toward the future, the event captured a spirit of enduring connection as students sealed letters to their future selves in a "Time Capsule," promising to return in six years. As the ceremony closed with a moving rendition of "Give Thanks," the graduates were sent forth with the deep love and blessings of their alma mater, fully equipped to courageously practice the school motto and shine brightly on their future academic journeys.

難忘師恩 • 攜手成長——第五十九屆小六畢業典禮

本校第五十九屆小六畢業典禮已於二零二六年六月二十六日圓滿舉行。典禮場面溫馨感人，不僅為畢業同學的小學階段畫上完美句號，更是一堂深刻的生命教育課。

最令人動容的莫過於「謝師時刻」，各班畢業生代表鄭重地向班主任獻上鮮花與感謝卡，師生深情相擁的畫面，令在場每一位嘉賓與家長為之動容。家長代表的真摯致辭將現場氣氛推向另一溫馨高潮。家長代表在分享中，由衷感謝學校與全體教師六年來的傾囊相授與悉心栽培，讓孩子們在充滿愛的環境中茁壯成長。

展望未來，本次典禮更承載著一份傳承與約定：同學們將寫給未來的信件封存於「時間囊」中，相約六年後再回母校共同開啟。隨著典禮在全場齊聲高唱《Give Thanks》中落下帷幕，全體畢業生帶著母校深切的愛與祝福昂首啟航，願他們能勇敢踐行校訓精神，在未來的求學道路上繼續閃耀光芒。

CMS Voices to Take the Stage at the 2026 Kids' AI Summit!

We are thrilled to announce that 20 expressive and influential speakers from our school have been selected to participate in the prestigious 2026 Kids' AI Summit. This event, held on June 25th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, provides a global platform for young voices to share their insights on the future of Artificial Intelligence.

Our talented representatives have prepared 3-minute "Spotlight" speeches that tackle complex themes in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua. Students shared how AI can be a helpful companion in daily life, explore its role in learning, consider its impact on wellbeing and relationships, reflect on responsibility and accountability in technology use, and imagine how AI may shape future dreams and career pathways.

Students are not just presenting facts; they are advocating for a human-centered approach to technology.

P5 students remind us that while AI can solve math equations in a millisecond, it cannot replace the "messy process" of learning that builds true confidence—and that children need the space to "be awkward" and to "struggle," because that is how they grow.

In the younger grades, students show that while AI is smart, it is the human "heart" that allows us to love—adding that while AI has a big brain, humans have the big heart.

As our students prepare for their big moment at the Education Expo, they carry the CMS mission of sharing love and looking at the world with their hearts. Whether they are warning us about "brains getting rusty" or inviting us to put our "tablets to bed," these speakers are set to influence the way we all thinkabout the supercomputer within us and the AI around us.

CMS 2026 兒童 AI 峰會——以人為本的科技未來

本校喜訊：20 位學生講者獲選參與 2026 兒童 AI 峰會（Kids' AI Summit），並將於 6 月 25 日在香港會議展覽中心登台分享。峰會匯聚來自不同地區的年輕代表，讓學生在國際舞台上就人工智能的發展與影響提出觀點，展現 CMS 學生的自信與同理心。

入選同學以英語、粵語及普通話發表演說，內容涵蓋：AI 在日常生活與學習中的應用、對身心健康與人際關係的影響、科技使用的責任與問責，以及 AI 如何啟發未來夢想與職涯想像等。

學生分享不僅著眼於科技能力，更強調「以人為本（human-centered）」的思考與選擇，呼應學校一直推動的價值教育。

在高年級組別中，學生以生動例子分享：「AI 也許能在毫秒間解題，但學習的價值在於反覆嘗試與修正。」並提醒大人要給孩子空間，「允許尷尬與掙扎，成長才會發生。」

低年級同學則以溫暖視角切入：學生分享「AI 很聰明，但人類有心，才懂得去愛」；亦延伸同一主題，強調「AI 有大腦，人類有更大的心。」

隨著教育博覽會在即，同學們帶著 CMS 的使命——分享愛，並以心看世界——整裝待發。從提醒大家避免過度依賴科技、到邀請大眾建立更健康的數位習慣，學生講者將以真誠與洞見，與社會大眾一同思考「人」與「AI」的關係，為未來科技帶來更具溫度的想像。
